How Are Fuel Prices Set in Saudi Arabia?
Petrol (Gasoline)
Petrol prices are announced by Saudi Aramco on the 10th of each month and take effect immediately at all stations across the Kingdom. Prices are linked to international oil markets and can move up or down each month.
Diesel
Diesel prices follow a separate annual review mechanism. The new diesel price is announced at the end of December and takes effect on 1 January, remaining fixed for the entire year. The 2026 price of SAR 1.79 per litre will not change until 1 January 2027.
LPG & Kerosene
LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) used for home cooking and heating is priced at SAR 1.09 per litre. Kerosene is now at SAR 1.59 per litre as of April 2026.
